一、课程教学目标
《高级英语II.1》是英语语言文学专业高年级（四年级上）的一门实践课程，旨在训练学生综合英语技能，尤其是阅读理解、语法修辞与写作能力。
二、先修课的要求
基础英语1至4册；高级英语5、6册。
三、教学环节、内容及学时分配
（一）总论（或绪论、概论等）
学时（课堂讲授学时+其他教学学时）：2
主要内容：本课程阅读材料内容广泛，涉及政治、经济、社会、语言、文学、教育、哲学等方面。通过阅读和分析所选材料，扩大学生知识面，加深学生对社会和人生的理解，培养他们的分析和欣赏能力、逻辑思维与独立思考能力，进一步巩固和提高英语阅读和写作能力。
教学要求：《高级英语II.1》课程是《基础综合英语》课程的延续，对学生的听、说、读、写、译等技能提出更高的培养要求。
