一、课程简介
本课程围绕修辞学的前沿和核心话题展开学习和研讨，其中包括隐喻认知论、转喻认知论、梯级修辞理论、概念的空间整合论、关联论、语义的历时演化论、极性词语理论等。课程主要由教师进行课堂（线上和线下结合）讲解。要求学生预先阅读指定的相关文献，上课参与讨论，完成思考题。
二、课程目标
（1）辅导读懂英文原版论文、专著和教材。
（2）运用修辞学理论分析英汉语实例。
（3）提出解决相关谜题的方案。
（4）根据学生的兴趣提供更多的相关参考文献，帮助设计论文的撰写方案。
三、授课方式
1.老师介绍研究概况，解释重要术语和解决难点。
2.学生准备PPT演讲。
3.师生提问和解答。
4.学生完成每章的专题练习。
5.指导完成期末论文。
四、课程要求
1. 课前阅读文献：10%
2. 参加课堂讨论：20%
3. 课堂PPT演讲：30%
4. 按时完成作业（平时作业+期末论文，标准论文形式，6-10页，）：40%

任课教师简介
蒋勇（1966.8.10）男，英语语言文学博士，上海外国语大学语料库研究院教授。现主要从事英、汉语的教学工作和语言学教学和研究工作。主要研究认知语言学、语用学、修辞学、信息论和博弈论。主持国家社科、教育部、上海市和复旦大学课题共 5 项，发表论文 60 多篇。讲授的课程有：语用学、西方语言学史、汉语认知语言学、修辞的认知鉴赏、研究生专业英语、留学生汉语、中国当代流行文化等。
