Dr. Kent Su is Lecturer at Shanghai International Studies University, where his research focuses on modernist poetry and art, ecology, Chinese philosophical traditions, comparative literature, and transnational studies. He earned his BA in English Literature and History from the University of British Columbia and his MA and PhD in English Literature from University College London. His forthcoming monograph, Ezra Pound and Chinese Landscapes (Clemson University Press, 2026), explores the philosophical evocation of Chinese landscapes in Ezra Pound’s poetry. Dr. Su co-organizes the London Cantos Reading Group and has published widely in journals such as Neohelicon, Notes & Queries, Textual Practice, The Literary Encyclopaedia, and Life Writing.
