内容简介：Looking at American poetry from the transpacific perspective, this lecture delineates a history of Asian American poetic resistance to homogenous and imperial narratives.
主讲人简介：黄运特，著名学者、书评人、诗人、翻译家。祖籍浙江温州，1991年毕业于北京大学英语系，同年赴美留学。1999年获得纽约州立大学英文博士学位后，被聘为哈佛大学英文系助理教授。现任加州大学圣巴巴拉分校英文系教授。英文著作包括《跨太平洋位移》（Transpacific Displacement）、《跨太平洋想象》（Transpacific Imaginations）、《陈查理传奇》（Charlie Chan: The Untold Story of the Honorable Detective and His Rendezvous with American History）等，并在《纽约时报》、《芝加哥论坛报》等刊物发表文章。2010年获得美国国家图书奖和普利策奖提名。2014年荣获美国学术界声誉最高的古根海姆奖。
